Surgeon's Friend
Weapons - 4 x Gimballed Combat Shotguns
Armor - as Cloth
Modules - 2 x IR and Anti-Laser Smoke Dispersal Charges (Block sensors and reduce laser damage by 2d)
Arm Mounted Cutting Laser
Magnetic Boots
The Surgeon's Friend is the mech of choice for Marines when boarding hostile warships. Smaller in stature to their ground based cousins at only 2m tall, the Surgeon's Friend uses a series of belt fed combat shotguns to quickly clear hallways. Susceptible to massed laser fire and explosives though the Inner Band did deem it acceptable to fit laser disrupting smoke charges onto the frame. All shotguns can be fired in a given combat round though doing so has risk of malfunction. On a throw of 10+ the guns seize and two combat rounds must be spent clearing them.
Stead-Es
Weapons - 20mm SMG (4d6-3 wounds, full auto can hit 6 adjacent targets)
Telescopic Polearm (Attacks at Close use same matrix as Short)
Armor- as Combat Armor
Modules - 360 degree traversing tank treads
What is a world to do when it gets rocketed to TL C but still has a huge stockpile of old world tank treads? A huge boondoggle of a military research project of course. Stead-Es were pitched as a hundred different roles before becoming a defense option of choice for brutal warlords on low tech level planets.
Mech Series M2333-X
Weapons - Sonic Concussion Rifle (on a hit throw 8+ to not be thrown 4d6 meters through the air, hits 4 adjacent targets)
Mancatcher (as spear, deals no wounds but on a hit the loop is placed around the targets head forcing them to comply or suffocate. 14+ to break free.)
Armor - as Jack
Modules - LRAD (impossible to hear or speak without a form audio protection)
Climate cooled seat
Overpopulation makes finding the right target pretty tricky. The M2333-X helps wade through a crowd to find the HVT you're looking for. A mech of choice for law enforcement, bounty hunters, kidnappers, and plenty of other moral citizens of the Band.
