Agents who have been in the field too long always talk about being tailed, persisten people following them for blocks. Or the prying eyes of some new neighbor suspecting of their constant trips away. Usually those are rooted in nothing but that reflective fear of violence. Agents kill, maim, and vanish others so it's only natural they fear something similar happens to them.
Not every pang of paranoia can be brushed aside. The Truth wants to stay protected. Certain natural laws bend to keep it shrouded in its panoply of obscurities. Quite simply, it enjoys the game of being chased. So the Truth every now and again gets in the ear of someone impressionable to sire them as an instrument to keep it hidden.
Currently one Benjamin Feldden is the last known person to have been hijacked. A former Army Ranger, Feldden was incarcerated for running drugs in and out of Afghanistan. At least on paper that is what he did. From some digging and coercion the Conspiracy has learned that Feldden was combatting a massive human trafficking ring leading MIA POWs from Afghanistan to indentured servitude in Qatar and other countries. Upon bringing up what he found, he was busted with five kilos of heroin going into Turkey. He was extradited and put in Leavenworth.
He was incarcerated until four months ago when he vanished without a trace. Some members of the Conspiracy have seen a man matching his description following them, talking to witnesses they have interviewed, and aiming a rifle at them in extremely public places with no reaction from anyone.
Feldden is to be considered armed and dangerous.
