Dolmenwood 11: Of Feasts and Accords
Thoughts
Really cool the players found one of the few areas in Dolmenwood that directly ties to the Cold Princes and would know the consequences of the actions the main party did in Sir Chyde's tomb.
They seem pretty keen to go about destroying the Ring of Chell and since the elves are so bored of their vigil I had them give some items to them as an "armory" of goods they have been sitting on to try and break the ring themselves.
They plan to try and destroy one of the standing stones next session so we will see what happens! The Drune are going to hate both parties it seems like!
Session
- Shank Sunderman, Level 2 Human Fighter
- Bagnack Hogslapper, Level 1 Woodgrue Magician
- Tomkin Fluff-a-kin, Level 1 Grimalkin Fighter
- Jymes Candleswick, Level 2 Human Friar
The party continues through a winding, freezing tunnel until they come to a great black door. Jymes knocks and a a frost elf butler answers. He presumes the party are there for business to do with the embassy.
They are escorted to a fine dining room and are served heaping portions of the finest foods they could ask for. Bagnack and Tomkin quarrel over lark eggs but a waiter soon brings a huge bowl of them.
The Ambassador makes an entrance. He chats with the party about the current political situation of Dolmenwood and shares his own problems of some adventurers closing the one entry to Frigia in Dolmenwood... Soon the party brings up a business proposal:
- a map to creatures that lay large eggs
- giant bees
- a hidden palace
- the location of holy relics
- and a trade deal
The Ambassador quickly agrees and says that he would be delighted to do business with anyone who could help him break apart the Ring of Chell. He gives the party the location of the Sunspear Stone and some magical goodies and left them to plot...
