Death and Dismemberment in the Far Future (Classic Traveller)
After a particularly violent Sunday Session with some of my Classic Traveller players I felt the urge to write up a death and dismemberment chart that fits the style and mood of Classic Traveller. Inspired in part by the focused wounding tables found in Kal Arath.
Wounds and Death
For each stat 0'd out throw a d6 on this table.If all three stats are 0'd it is your duty to describe the most horrific death you can think of. Adjust the throw with appropriate DMs. Some DMs to consider:
In Zero-G +3
Wearing Battle Dress -2
Nerve Agent +2
Under Effects of Combat Drug -1
When creating new DMs or adjudicating it is important to note that things that make injuries worse give a Positive DM and that things that make a result better give a Negative DM.
Wounds Table
| Throw | Result |

| 1 | See Red: Restore 1 point to the 0'd stat and make an action immediately. |
| 2 | Fucked Up, but OK: Continue fighting. |
| 3 | On your Ass: Knocked down! Attacks against you are easier, movement costs are doubled. |
| 4 | Punch Drunk: As On your Ass but all actions receive a -3 DM for 1d6 rounds. |
| 5-8 | Unconscious: 10 minutes for one 0'd stat, 3-4 hours for 2. |
| 9 | Wet Pop: Lose 1 point in each damaged stat permanently. |
| 10 | Mutilated: A limb is lost or rendered useless. Stats are impacted accordingly. Roll 1d6 1 Legs -3 Dex 2 Arms -2 Str 3-4 Torso -2 End 5 Head -2 Int 6 Face -2 Soc |
| 11 | Sucking Wound: Dead in 2d6 combat rounds unless a stabilized with a TN C Medical task throw. |
| 12+ | Your Own Terms: It's fatal, no question about that. Do one last action with a +4. |
